Oh good. I mailed to `questions' about this, but no-one's replied yet. A scan through the mail archives looking for ZIP or Iomega turns up a ton of posts from people outlining problems with the drive, failure to mount a second disk without necessitating a reboot, that sort of thing. As of yesterday (Monday) I couldn't see any messages from anyone in the archives rebutting these or announcing that the reported problems have been fixed. Is there a small FAQ floating around that details how to use the ZIP with FreeBSD? I'm looking at a Zip drive for backup purposes. It's either that or tape, but so far I haven't seen any reports of poeple using it with no problems. I'd love to be see some.
