I'm using gs to convert postscript documents to pcl3, what the 600 understands. I'm using the output driver djet500. Has anyone else used a HP deskjet 600? What are your configs? (Printcap, etc) My printcap is lp:lp=/dev/lpt0:sh:sd=/var/spool/output/lpd:lf=/var/log/lpd-errs: basically. I'm working on some conversion filters, so sending print jobs to lp will go through the gs->pcl3 filter, and make another queue for text as well, that will go though a different filter. Anyone else do anything similar? -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: 2.6.2 iQCVAwUBMG9JGmFhtgOO06vFAQEn9AP/dBlI9Sp8Q+7d9ezaLokbiTZpkXl/f5dC d4Ugdvc91MRqZVefq+s0pZhZjwhNZ68rj4X1H8uu0VMWa+7xuWyvWLayA1N3b0iR 0cyGtlFpnMJ17zqz815O6PMl0z9m3Dy9KPtlE09/S/IkqoQ6ZvKWo21CiATRIrnU pBusj4QL9gc= =7rz9 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- Virtually, Edward Wolpert ------------------------------ -------------------- |wolpert@utk.edu | System Administrator | "No, sorry, there's |wolpert@osti.rmt.utk.edu | Systems Programmer | nothing to be |wolperte@knox.pcec.philips.com| UNIX Codehead | done about it." ------------------------------ -------------------- "Sorry, but Godot is not here today.
