Linux vs FreeBSD vs the rest - which to choose?
Proponents of Linux, FreeBSD and maybe some other free or cheap
Unix ports will each give a short description of their favourite
system. The floor will then be open for questions and the chairman
will attempt to keep order!
We have two "Caldera Network desktop for Linux" demonstrator CDs
to be won during this event, and one free to whoever promises to
write a review of it.
Later we will adjourn to the Rising Sun on Tottenham Court Road, or
possibly direct to the Cypriana or the Villa Carlotta for more solid
refreshment.
The lectures are sponsored by the UK Unix systems User Group and are
open to all. There is no charge for admission.
