like the look of it).

: You probably don't want to do this.  It would be a major pain in the
: ass.  Just intall FreeBSD 2.0.5R or one of the latest snap releases.

One person who responded by email said that BSDI was more stable than
FreeBSD.

I'll install FreeBSD on top of whatever it comes with rather soon...
