I'm running FreeBSD-2.05 and : tried netscape-v112-export.i386-unknown-bsd.tar.Z. I did any of the : steps mentioned above, but netscape core-dumps on startup with segmentation : fault. Netscape1.0 works fine. Do you have any idea ? I also run FreeBSD 2.05, but have no problems running netscape-v112 at all. What I did was: 1. 'ln -s /usr/X11R6 /usr/X11' 2. In /usr/X11/lib/X11/ 'mkdir nls' 3. I then extracted the tar.Z into a temp directory 4. I copied the netscape binary to /usr/X11/bin ('cp netscape /usr/X11/bin') 5. I copied the contents of the nls directory in my temp directory to /usr/X11/lib/X11/nls (the files are: 'C' and 'nls.dir') Optionally, if would like, you can edit the 'Netscape.ad' file that comes in the tar, rename it to 'Netscape' and copy it to: /usr/X11/lib/X11/app-defaults/ I did nothing else but the above things and Netscape v1.12 works flawlessly with my FreeBSD 2.0.5.
