On the client, BSDI, system we are seeing errors of this type: nfs server bunyip:/virtual/www/alp: is alive again nfs server bunyip:/virtual/www/alp: not responding nfs server bunyip:/virtual/www/alp: is alive again nfs server bunyip:/virtual/www/alp: not responding nfs server bunyip:/virtual/www/alp: is alive again nfs server bunyip:/virtual/www/alp: not responding nfs server bunyip:/virtual/www/alp: is alive again nfs server bunyip:/virtual/www/alp: not responding nfs server bunyip:/virtual/www/alp: is alive again nfs server bunyip:/virtual/www/alp: not responding nfs server bunyip:/virtual/www/alp: is alive again nfs server bunyip:/virtual/www/alp: not responding nfs server bunyip:/virtual/www/alp: is alive again nfs server bunyip:/virtual/www/alp: not responding nfs server bunyip:/virtual/www/alp: is alive again nfs server bunyip:/virtual/www/alp: not responding nfs server bunyip:/virtual/www/alp: is alive again nfs server bunyip:/virtual/www/alp: not responding nfs server bunyip:/virtual/www/alp: is alive again etc etc. Does this look familiar to anyone? The two machines are in the same subnet and on the same segment. Neither system is heavily loaded. I've had it suggested to me that the timeout could be increased, but this should not be necessary.
