Date: 17 Oct 1995 14:20:15 -0700 Organization: Forte Computer Systems, Brisbane CA Lines: 14 Message-ID: <4616mf$2ub@shellx.best.com> NNTP-Posting-Host: shellx.best.com X-Newsreader: NN version 6.5.0 #6 (NOV) I know that I should use adduser rather than modify /etc/passwd, etc. files by hand. I assume that this has to do with the shadow password file. But what do I do about old user accounts that need to be changed? I need to change the login directory of one user. Can I do this by hand? -david -- David Paigen, aka Sir Henry Lee, Queen's Champion Will answer stupid user paigen@best.com C, unix, X, news, and questions for beer. paigen@forte.org distributed systems (good beer)
