The hardware guild lists under CD-ROM's "Sony CD-ROM". I have a Sony CDU-535. If I boot with the "-c" option and set up the device to match my port and irq settings, then probe it, the drive spins up and the light comes on. THis gets my opes way up! Then it says that it timed out. No go. Is there a way to use this drive? Will it work with 2.1? Will that be here soon? I'm very new to FreeBSD, converting over from Linux, so any help will be appreciated. -Steve steve@microdot.com
