Any suggestions? : I have the opposite problem. How do you UUCP mail to a dial in : client? Arrg, couldnt you have kept this a separate post? Ive never done a UUCP dial-in. Are you using BSDI as the client machine? : As far as news, my guess would be to assign the user a static IP. : Then, create an entry in DNS that identifies that IP. Then edit : hosts.nntp to identify the name as a downstream feed. Also, I beleive : the 'newsfeeds' file needs massaging. Nonono. This is as simple as setting up the newsfeeds file and a DNS entry. Someone did help me out, but my last problem is that the headers do batch. When I have cron run the sendbatch program, it doesnt work. I tried running it manually, and there are tons of errors in sendbatch. First, the directory structure in sendbatch are incorrect, and I believe there is a typo where uuq is I think it shoudl be uux, but then again im no INN expert. : Since I've never done it, I'm not sure if this advice helps, as news : usually takes a lot of trial and error to get functional. Yeah, too much trial and error. : If you can help me with the mail, I would appreciate it. Ill think of something when my problem has been finished. -- InterGlobal Communications =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= David Bauman <david@igcom.net> == <Shell, SLIP, PPP, UUCP, Leased Lines> voice: 708.298.9933 == <WWW design, programming, implementation> fax: 708.298.1473 == <3 Dial-up locations around Chicagoland> modem: 708.298.1120 == <Competitive pricing, great customer service> -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= 8616 W.
