Why not check out the free YP server implementation currently being developed for NetBSD: ftp://ftp.stacken.kth.se/pub/OS/NetBSD/ypserv/ That implementation uses the new Berkeley DB routines. It's still in development, but it's worth noting that I've been using with a great deal of success the May-ish snapshot under NetBSD/hp300 for quite some time. -- Jason R.
