   Really?  Well, that would be strange considering...
   OS/2, DOS/Windows, Windows95, and Linux all boot and recognize both the 
   fast and fast/wide drives.  The PCI HA has both 50- and 68-pin connectors 
   on the card so it's obviously equipped to handle both busses.  

Also, the newer BusLogic wide cards also claim to be able to run both
wide and non-wide drives off the same card.  I don't have one, so I
can say exactly how it works...
