Currently, there is not installation scripts... Perhaps you or anyone can

This is not a known bug and you are the first one to report any serious
problems with the latest X server. The only problem reported so far is
that the et3000 driver does not restore properly text upon exiting xinit.

What is your major and minor device numbers for /dev/vga and your 
mouse port?

Also, I would like to know your svga's chipset manufacturer and model...
Lastly, are you using a local bus svga card?
