I did a manual ftp from another machine, grabbed the whole distribution, then pointed the new install at that machine - it worked except for a few bugs in the install program (getting caught in some menus, the custom install didn't work for more than one package at a time (had to install bin, then do X, etc.), and a few other problems.) I also had a problem after the install, the fstab file built by the install program didn't mount things in the order I expected, so it halted the boot up until I fixed the fstab file order (tried to mount partitions under /usr before mounting /usr). And routed is turned on by default (why?). Other than that - no problems. --Craig In article <45pla6$4m7@buffnet2.buffnet.net>, Superuser <root@buffnet.net> wrote: >Craig Huckabee (huck@nosc.mil) wrote: > >:Now, I get nothing on the debug screen and the first screen just tells >:me the install failed and asks me to pick another site.
