FTP installation seems to be sick. It probably looks fine when the server respongs right away, but when there are 300 users on ftp.freebsd.org, it may say "Can not establish..." or may put a hope in your soul with "Doing CD to ~pub/Free...", but fail after that. Leaving yuo to wonder, how come the primary site does not ~pub/FreeBSD... Debug screen is not of any help -- even wth DEBUG option on it has no FTP messages. After a few retries (no ESC is possible!, ^C and reboot only) it will drop you back to select another site, but will not al- ways change the setting! Or at least the "Can not..." message may state, that the connection that failed was to the old site, not the one I just selected. But, that's life. The things to fix (I think) is all the ftp dialogs on the debug screen, and possibility to cancel at any time (to pick another site, and/or to choose another media -- to upper menus, in other words). It succesfully installed after all! Also, the visual configuration is realy nice, but there is no way to get back from it to traditional config-prompt -- `quit' drops out to booting.
