Any ideas on how I can get around this > problem? I too am having this problem on a 386/40MHz machine with 4 megs of RAM Tseng4000 and a Seagate ST1239A Hard Drive. I need help desperatly. It seems to work fine if a format the ENTIRE drive for unix, but can not partion any for DOS the instant I do that I get that exact error. I've tried putting BSD on first then DOS, and vice-versa. I've created tons of different partions and nothing works except for ALL or NOTHING. HELP!!!!!!!!!
