I have a Hitachi IDE CDROM drive in a DELL XPS100 with a 1.6gig EIDE drive. I got the current src tree and recompiled my kernel with the atapi lines. Everything compiles fine and on boot up it seems to find the drive fine. However, when I try to mount the device I got a device not configured error, also when I used the cdcontrol program I get a no cd in error. The devices I need are there in /dev rwcd0c and wcd0c, but it claims they are no configured. Anyone have any tips? Thanks C-
