I just upgraded. The "gotchas" which I've noticed so far include: 1. gettytab replaced, thereby breaking getty, which couldn't find the new definitions I had added. this also broke ppp's dial-up routine. 2. my previous ppp.up, etc, scripts didn't work--I couldn't get a connection. I made up a new one, using the new scripts, which could then connect. 3. the Dialout.up script establishes the REMOTE PPP address as the gateway; this doesn't work--I fixed it to use the LOCAL PPP address as the gateway, which does work. Not actually too bad. -- Greg Shenaut -- gkshenaut@ucdavis.edu
