I've seen it posted a few times, I think -- but then, I keep an eye on a few too many newsgorups for my own good ;). FreeBSD uses booteasy, which is available at.. ftp://ftp.cdrom.com/pub/FreeBSD/tools/dos-tools/os-bs135.exe It's a self extracting archive.. put it in a directory on your dos drive, run it, and then take a look at the docs included. Try the command bootinst, and it might be a good idea to create a boot floppy and put the backup boot sector(s) it generates onto the floppy along with the bteasy commands so you can restore if need be. It's a pretty easy-to-survive job. -Robert ---- Robert Watson (rnw+@andrew.cmu.edu) * Double major: IDS/CS * H&SS http://www.watson.org/ robert@fledge.watson.org
