It seems that I am getting on character per second sent to the printer. I think that my SoundBlaster card is set to interrupt 7, although, MSDOS seems to print fine under the same configuration. It seems that my printer doesn't know that is supposed to return an interrupt. (?) It also seems like 1 second is the timeout interval in order to wait for a response from the printer. Questions: 1. Will changing the SoundBlaster interrupt setting fix this problem? 2. Should I reduce the timeout value for the interrupt on lpt0? If so, how? 3. Is there any way to do away with this interrupt requirement on lpt0? Thank you, -sean.
