Lines: 29 Message-ID: <4662b6$4fr@presence.lglobal.com> NNTP-Posting-Host: presence.lglobal.com Could someone please let me know how talk and ytalk are implemented. ON my BSD/OS 2.0 initially talk worked as stock....however as I upon attempting ytalk I get an error such as: Cannot find talk daemon or some such thing. Upon attempting newer talkd and ytalk stuff I successfully killed my talk as it know requires requests from the remote machine.. Please outline: 1) What program and daemon is required? 2) How the daemon is implemented in things like inetd.conf etc. 3) Any success stories(of which I am sure there are somem)?
