FreeBSD works with Zappa boards.  However, the SMC 100Mb/s ethernet
cards do NOT work in these boards in 100Mb/s mode - though they
work OK in 10Mb/s mode, as do the plain 10Mb/s cards (I am told that
the same problem applies under other O/S, so this isn't a FreeBSD
driver problem).  SMC say it's a motherboard problem, the motherboard
suppliers say its SMC's problem.   I am told that the Endeavor boards
do not have this problem, but have not personally verified this.
