Hmm, I'm a little surprised to see this FreeBSD question posted into a NetBSD newsgroup which I just read for the first time ... I don't quite understand your configuration. Which drives are WIDE ? The external drive ? Why is the external drive not the one that is terminated ?? Mixing normal and WIDE drives ought to work ... BTW: What system release is that ?
