I've looked all over for a FAQ on ppp that had been updated since the
switch away from pppd with no luck.. I read the parts on ppp in the
FreeBSD handbook but even with intense modification beyond what that said
was needed it still does not work. I am getting write errors to the routing
table every so often as well as multiple entries.
When I connect to my ppp server I sometimes can connect to the server but
never get beyond that actual connect message. I have set up everything
as per the handbooks suggestions and "show route" shows that there is a
"default" entry aimed at the server.
Once ppp has connected netstat -r just hangs at the first line.

If anyone could point me to an updated faq I'd greatly appreciate it.

(I would have described the problem and setup fully, but I'm sure there
is a faq out there somewhere)

btw - manpages were no help.
