I have received dozens of requests for software I wrote to create
accounting files based on the 'detail' file that RADIUS creates
inconjunction with the Livingston PME. So, here it is.

These daily files are used not only as a daily report, but also to
show users, via our web page, their current usage. It also shows how
busy our system is by graphing the number of connects per day. if you
want to see the graphic results in action, go to www.starlink.com.
Select Explore-UserPages. Enter the user id 'nobody'. There will be
no time table displayed, but the daily usage graph will show up.
These graphs and charts are automatically generated via a perl script
using the files created by this accounting software.

There is a compiled version (done under BSDI 2.0.1) and the source
code is included. See the staracct.txt file for instructions.
