You should always have a copy handy for those occasions when the system
refuses to boot without an fsck, and fsck is on the hard disk.

You can get the disk mounted writeable by typing :-

	mount -u /dev/wd0a /

You can then write your own /etc/rc (or do a cpio -idalmvu /etc/rc <
bindist).
