Followup-To: poster Date: 27 Oct 1995 12:42:38 -0700 Organization: Best Internet Communications Lines: 15 Sender: jeffc@best.com (Jeff Chan) Message-ID: <46rcne$irt@shellx.best.com> I couldn't find Jordan's detailed hardware discussion, so I hope this isn't in a faq somewhere... Just about every PC store says that the NCR scsi controller won't work with an Intel Zappa motherboard. They claim the motherboard needs to use the NCR chipset to be happy with the NCR controller. I seem to recall NCRs being used with lots of (previous generation) Intel Netpune-based motherboards. Are the stores wrong? Jeff Chan jeffc@best.com
