I'm running 2.1.0-951005-SNAP and having a problem getting a Soundblaster PRO
working. This could be nothing more than my own misunderstanding, but
the only things I'm able to get to work are very short .au files that I
cat to /dev/audio. Everything else, from QT files with imbedded audio tracks
to random .WAV files (including those from http://www.webb.com/grinch -
How the Grinch Stole Christmas) only play for a fraction of a second and
then cut out.

Any hints as to what I'm doing wrong? I'm using xanim and netscape (and
cat) to output the sound.

John
