Hardware:

Dell 450SE, 486 50Mhz, EISA, 24 Meg RAM
Adaptec 1742 SCSI controller
WD 8013W 10baseT ethernet

when i boot the Fixit disk (with debug stuff) i get:

[ lots of what looks like disk sector debugging ]
[ 0.1 headers ]
pc0<color> ...
com1 ...
com2 ...
fd0 ...
as0 ...
we0 ...
npx0 at 0xf0 irq 13 on isa (???)
changing root device to fd0a

it then hangs, or at least appears to do nothing.

any ideas?

email to jim@lsuc.on.ca would be appreciated as i only have access to news via
another host. (we are hoping to put news up on this 386BSD box if we can get
it running 8^)

thanx.
