Hey all,

I downloaded minicom and tried compiling it. It works great for
8n1 transfers. However if I try to switch to 7e1, it 1) doesn't switch
and 2) after the current session is over, there is no response from the
modem, thus I have to exit minicom and start again.

I've tried compiling it with the linux flags (the makefile says it
works but it doesn't). If -DPOSIX is included, minicom will not speak to
the modem at all.

Does anyone have any input as to how to get this to work (in 7e1).

Also, aside from minicom and kermit, are there any other comm programs
(not X like seyon) for freebsd?

Adam
