Date: 5 Nov 1995 02:50:45 GMT Organization: California State University Sacramento Lines: 11 Message-ID: <47h8q5$dfj@news.csus.edu> NNTP-Posting-Host: wleong@pluto.sfsu.edu X-Newsreader: News Xpress Version 1.0 Beta #4 After all nights work and wiping out the c drive several times, I finally got the BSD to install. Now I can boot into the FreeBSD, and the question I have, is whether I can now get it to recognize my cd-rom drive? I came across a thread saying something like "option atapi" something, and I found a file named "atapi.flp" in the web site. Can I now set it up to see my cd-rom now? Your reply is greatly appreciated. p/s: I have P133, 16M ram, and Sony CDu76-Es quad speed cd-rom.
