Let's see - Rich Morin's Prime Time Freeware, 1-1 and 1-2 and Discovery System's CD-ROM sampler, for starters. >I cannot mount the sun answer book CDROM >does anybody know if this can be done? >suposedly it is iso9660 but I cannot mount it. If it is a UFS one, of course not. You have to find a way to deal with the logical block size dilemma. Make an appointment, bring it over and we'll mount it. >I have never heard of anyone successfuly using the iso filesystem >has anyone done this? Well, we have and have extended it recently to work older CDROMS and we'll extend it to use Rock Ridge as well. For anyone interested, our upcoming article in DDJ will deal with CDROMs and ISO-9660, followed next month by Rock Ridge and other extensions. Look for more information on CDROMs in DDJ in November and December. Lynne.
