I'm not doing it, but I have seen some stuff about it on this channel. 
Ext2 is being ported for FreeBSD 2.2, and will be everything it is for 
Linux, plus it'll support filesystem quotas and some other cool stuff.
I'd suspect that once it's ported, someone will be porting the new 
features back to Linux.

Anyone know more?
