Lines: 34 Message-ID: <478sni$g9c@aldebaran.sct.fr> Reply-To: segura@worldnet.net NNTP-Posting-Host: client62.sct.fr X-Newsreader: Forte Free Agent 1.0.82 I'am actually using FreeBSD 2.05, and I still didn't figure out how to write a connection script to connect to my Internet Provider. If someone has written this stuff, or can give me tips, I'll appreciate. NB: my machine has also ethernet on board with IP=192.168.0.2, see RFC 1597. The modem is an USR 14K4, and connected to COM2: My Internet provider dynamically allocates IP adresses at the connection. The login sequence looks like this: welcome to worldnet..... login:MY_ACCOUNT (reply with an account name) password:****** (reply with the password) PPP session from (194.2.128.244) to 194.2.128.35 beginning... And the line is supposed to go PPP (or SLIP depending on the account) Thanks by advance ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fabrice Segura - Boulogne - FRANCE email : segura@worldnet.net ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This message is not to be posted on the Microsoft network without payment of a $100 posting fee by Microsoft Corporation to the Author of this mes- sage.
