Hi,
I just started learning to install FreeBSD and I have many questions
that I need to ask, but here are a few.

First off, I like to know the normal steps during the installation.
Here's what I understand so far,
     1. use pfdisk to partition the disk for freebsd.
     2. boot from floppy to get into sysinstall.
     3. ...
I am stuck at step 2 cause after booting from floppy, the CD-ROM is
not being recognized at all, since I am installing from cd-rom. under
what devicename is the cdrom attach to? I have an EIDE hardrive as the
Master and CDROM as the Slave of drive 0.
To further confuse thing, I need to then "partition" and
"disklabel" the
disk to certain configuration. I use pfdisk to partition the 1.2g
hardrive to
300 mb for freebsd. Do I need to use MS-DOS format to format this new D
drive again, or should I leave it there and let sysinstall take care of
it?
     Your reply is greatly appreciated!

p/s: I have a pentium system with sony cdu76e-s quad-speed cd-rom. I am
currently trying to install freebsd 2.0.5.
