The Linux compatability package is part of the standard ] FreeBSD distribution, i.e., it's on the CDROM, available by ftp, ] etc.? Yes. ] I called Novell and talked to the WordPerfect/UNIX folks there--or ] rather to one woman who said WordPerfect was not available for ] "Lenox." Assuming it is, does it run well, in terms of using a ] FreeBSD setup for a bunch (50) of people who don't have other access ] to computer services (no PCs on their desks)? (That's 50 simultaneous ] log-ins, most of whom would be word-processing.) It is available; you ought to contact Caldera (their http address is http://www.caldera.com ),the home of former Novell employees and an independent Linux shop. As to whether it works: I don't know. I do all my word processing in vi, or if it's too complex for vi, I use FrameMaker. 8-).
