Hmm, I run /stand/sysinstall on my 2.1.0-951020-SNAP system to install
new distributions periodically, and it seems to work... it even runs
under X :-)  All I had to do was forcefully gunzip the boot_crunch and
root_crunch archives in /stand and restore all the hard links.  Is it
not supposed to work yet?
