The problem is that the FreeBSD bootblock only knows how to boot off the first two BIOS disks (or more IFF AND ONLY IF your BIOS supports booting of a 3rd drive) unfortunatly even if you did have BIOS support for the 3rd disk you will still need to boot with the -a argument, because BIOS disk 3 is sd0, and the bootblock hasn't got any way of telling the kernel that.. so you have to... as a QUICK HACK try taking hte two IDE drives OUT OF THE BIOS tables (from the BIOS config screen) FreeBSD will still find them but the BIOS will find the scsi disk then as that's all there will be..) the configuration is becoming more common and we need to work out a way of handling it better.... let me know what happens.... > >I ran the install and everyting installed fine.
