I have a P90 system with 48M, sd0 is a 1 gig Conner, and sd1 is a 4 gig barricuda. This system is running the 1026-SNAP. It is being used as a news server, but it keeps crashing. :( The system will stay up for anywhere from 2 to 24 hours, but it will then crash. What happens is the hard disks stop responding, thus requiring a power cycle. If I only reset, the barricuda seems to disappear! Power cycleing comes up fine. This happens with both the Adaptec 2940 and 1542. Anyone have any ideas? Maybe I should ditch the 4 gig and get a couple of 2 gigs? -- /* Scott McDermott - scottm@wolfenet.com # Deliver yesterday, R/C, Paintball, Computers - Crap I'm broke! # code today, Between FreeBSD and Linux, why pay? # think tomorrow. */
