Date: Thu, 2 Nov 1995 21:47:53 UTC Lines: 21 I have a Zenith Data Systems Z-NoteFlex, which has a CS4231 built-in, configured as a MWSS. I downloaded the sys source from the latest 2.1.0 snap in the hopes that it would finally fix the audio. In order to get it to work, I had to comment out all of probe_ms_sound, except for the last line: return ad1848_detect (hw_config->io_base + 4); Having done that (and configed in opl0 and mpu0, despite their non-existence), I have a /dev/audio that works correctly. I haven't gone back to try and work out what is wrong with the rest of the probe routine, but it consists only of sanity-checks that I don't mind doing without. :-) -- Nick Sayer <nsayer@quack.kfu.com> | How do Democrats spell 'denial'?
