I don't have any problem with Windows 95, it's working fine, with dynamic IP adresses. I think the shell script login above is overkill, it will take more memory than just a plain pjacs:*:202:20:Chris Stenton - PPP:/etc/ppphome:/usr/sbin/pppd entry. (or swap space) There's a WWW page somewhere which describes what to do at the Win95 side of the connection.
