Eichin) Newsgroups: comp.unix.bsd Subject: [386bsd] bug report: X386 1.2E fails x11perf -wdcircle100 Message-ID: <EICHIN.92Sep22234427@tsx-11.mit.edu> Date: 23 Sep 92 03:44:34 GMT Sender: news@athena.mit.edu (News system) Organization: Massachusetts Institute of Technology Lines: 14 Nntp-Posting-Host: tsx-11.mit.edu Using the server from ports/x11 (not the new Xfree86, the earlier one) I ran x11perf -all. It went through many of the tests, but when it got to the test for "100-pixel wide dashed circle" it drew one dashed circle (messed up near the top) and then froze (at first, I didn't realize it died, since the screen didn't change, but I typed some commands and the shell reacted to them. I ran xinit from an rlogin session, and as soon as that circle was drawn, I got "lost connection to X server" from xinit.) It also crashes after adding NoSpeedUp to my Xconfig. If it matters (which I doubt) I'm using a 486 and an ET4000 card. _Mark_ <eichin@athena.mit.edu> MIT Student Information Processing Board Cygnus Support <eichin@cygnus.com>
