I just installed the 2.1.0-951104 Snapshot this weekend on a machine, and was surprised at how well the ATAPI stuff seemed to work. (To the first poster...) Yes, you will have to rebuild your kernel. However, look in the GENERIC config file; it has the two lines you need commented out. One is for the "options ATAPI" and the other is to make the kernel recognize the "wcd" device. Now, I only spent about 15 minutes going through CD-ROMs, but it worked well. Remember to mount with the "-t cd9660" option... I forgot this the first time, then couldn't figure out why it was complaining about super blocks... :-) Jonathan Sturges, sturgesj@bosco.cc.odu.edu LAN/Workstation Support Old Dominion University "Omigod... the dead have risen, and they're voting Republican!" --Bart Simpson
