Date: 23 Sep 92 06:42:42 GMT Lines: 13 I have recently installed 386bsd on a 486-33 computer with the /usr directory NFS mounted onto a SUN. It I attempt to copy some large files from /usr ( on the sun's drive) to /tmp (on the local drive), the transfer rate appears to be very slow. Finally a message appears on the console which says "mb_map full". Then the system continues for a little while before I get a kmem_malloc error message. Anybody got a solution to this one?? Thanks in advance, Tony.
