I have a 486-66 with 4 megs on which I have DOS 6.2 and OS/2 Warp installed (on the same partition.) I also have a boot disk made with boot.flp and RAWRITE. If I boot from the floopy what will happen to my DOS and OS/2 systems ?? Should I create a new partition using FIPS ? I have tried to install FreeBSD 2.0.5 on a 4 meg system. It booted off the installation floppy (and told me lots of interesting stuff about the system), but failed to newfs the root file system because the big default kernel did not leave enough VM (no swap yet, remember?) for the operation. So I was stuck with Linux in the end. -- --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dipl.-Inform.
