Since I've never done this before, there are a few questions that I'm hoping some kind soul can help me with. How much swap space do I need. I've used Linux before and know that they recommend 16M. Is there a specific value that I should use for FreeBSD, or is any size okay? My ethernet card is a NE2100-compatible. However it's on a non-standard port. I'm not sure if the probe on the bootdisk is finding it. When I give the -c option to manually configure something, I was wondering, which device is the ethernet card? Any tips or tricks that I should keep in mind? Thanks in advance... --Jerry ps-When is FreeBSD v2.1.0 being released anyway? -- 8) Jerry Alexandratos % - % "Nothing inhabits my (8 8) alexandr@louie.udel.edu % - % thoughts, and oblivion (8 8) darkstar@strauss.udel.edu % - % drives my desires."
