There's 32MB of physical ram , and about 160M of swap space allocated. It frequently crashes (1-2 times per day). We rarely get more than 10 nnrpd's running at once. The crashes seem to be definitely related to periods of high disk access. (du -a on the news spool will reliably crash it, as will cc) I'd like to hear from anyone who has reliably setup this scenario. If I don't figure this out in a few weeks I guess I'll just assume that FreeBSD isn't stable enough for real use and buy BSDI or something. Perhaps it isn't more stable, but at least there's some level of support (Other than netnews, of course!) Thanks in advance. -- Sean T.
