Hello,

This is my first exposure to freebsd, so excuse me if I sound stupid....

I am trying to install 2.0.5 to a scsi disk (a 1 gig seagate, if it matters).
The problem is that the install program doesn't recongize either SCSI disk or
my SCSI cdrom. If fact I think it really isn't recognizing the SCSI card (a
16 bit QLOGIC of some sort). Does BSD support qlogic cards (I'll be
disappointed if BSD doesn't where linux does). I'm trying to install off
a CD. Does anyone know of a patch, or some other option that someone who
has never installed before may have neglected.

Thanks in advance (alot),
Charlie
