However there is (or was) at least one card that could be used with
Linux but not with FreeBSD (except at 640x480) because an external
clock-setting program had been written for Linux but not ported to
FreeBSD.  The Diamond Stealth 24 (or is it 32?) had this problem.  I
believe most Diamond cards are now supported directly by XFree86, but
this one wasn't last time I looked.
