I seached through the mailing list archives at www.freebsd.org (very nice work guys!) and found an ongoing discussion of this, but has there been any resolution to actually distribute a kernal and/or libc with pthreads in it. The reason I ask is that I would like to try running Dartmouth's "BlitzMail" with FreeBSD, but it requires either NextStep's "cthreads" or POSIX "pthreads" in order to operate. | John Lucas jlucas@uvi.edu | | Academic Computing NIC Handle: JL423 | | University of the Virgin Islands (809) 693-1216 | | St. Thomas, VI 00802 http://www.uvi.edu/jlucas.html |
