BSD seems to recognise it, but when mounting the CD, it tells me that the cdrom is unstable and won't read from it. Sometimes it will mount and let me read from it once, but then it stops working. my scsi hard drive is running off the same controller. i have heard that freebsd does not support media vision cdrom, and i have heard that it doesn't support ncr devices. i am using free-bsd 2.0.5. any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated. regards craig beasland
